What’s even more special is that this year’s set of awards mark half a decade of consistently being acknowledged as one of the country’s best employers – what a fantastic accolade to have for Novartis UK!
It seems fitting that the first of our 2018 web stories focusses on Novartis UK as an employer of choice. We invest in future talent – There’s no better way to start a career in life sciences than with Novartis UK. We support the NHS through our work – We are proud to partner with the NHS to help find solutions for various aspects of service delivery. The health service is facing many challenges, but through our extensive joint working programme, we are proactively looking to address some of these critical issues facing the NHS. By working together collaboratively, we firmly believe that we can deliver the best possible care for patients across the UK. We engage with the local community – Our Community Partnership Day, held each year, encourages all Novartis associates to support their local communities, social institutions and non-profit organisations. Last year, over 200 UK employees participated in the 2017 Community Partnership Day, partaking in tasks varying from sorting charity donations, gardening and decorating at a local school to helping at local community centres.

Our employee social committee, ‘Our Social’, hosts regular activities, including Christmas bingo and festivities, summer barbeques and even impromptu ice-cream vans!
