Joint working project summary:
To achieve Scottish consensus agreement and implementation of Neuroendocrine Tumour (NET) guidelines working with the Scottish Neuroendocrine Tumour group (SCONET) and the 3 Scottish Regional Cancer Networks. This will ensure equitable care, and improve quality of care, for patients with neuroendocrine cancer across NHS Scotland. It will also serve as a significant step towards the achievement of eNETS (European Neuroendocrine Tumour Society) Centre of Excellence Certification which will support Centre of Excellence status for the treatment of NETs in Scotland.
Expected patient outcomes for this project:

It is expected that the development and implementation of NET guidelines in Scotland will generate improved quality, and equality, of care for patients with NET in Scotland, with improved patient concordance and adherence to therapy and improved patient experience with an increase in patient satisfaction and patient reported outcomes.
