Breakthrough Breast Cancer

Provision of funding to assist in the organisation of a breast cancer nurse workshop

Provision of funding to assist  Westminster fly-in. The Westminister fly-in is a two day annual event organised, and managed, by Breakthrough Breast Cancer covering a  series of training workshops. These are focused on different aspects of campaigning and advocacy skills for individuals who have had first hand experience of breast cancer.

Broken Silence

Provision of funding to assist in the development and production of an animation DVD to help children and teachers understand sickle cell disease and how it affects a sickle cell sufferer’s everyday life.
CML Support

New Horizons in Treating Cancer: 7th International Conference for organisations representing people with CML or GIST

Provision of funding to assist  with the development of a CML educational resource video aimed at providing insights into experiences of people living with CML
Cystic Fibrosis Trust

Provision of funding towards the Cystic Fibrosis Breathing Life Awards for 2009

Provision of funding towards the Cystic Fibrosis Trust Meeting of the Directors of Specialist CF centres.
GIST Support UK

Sponsorship of panel member at the New Horizons in Treating cancer: International congress for organisations representing people with CML or GIST

James Whale Fund and Kidney Cancer UK The provision of funding to support the production of a non-promotional film to raise public awareness about kidney cancer in the UK
James Whale Fund Provision of funding to launch the non-promotional film to raise awareness of kidney cancer amongst stakeholders  inc. patients, carers, HCPs, MPs, payors and those with an interest in RC
Provision of funding for Party Political Fringe Meetings: To generate a discussion around the issues related to the provision of end of life treatments by hosting a fringe meeting at the three major conferences
Leukaemia Research

Participation in an advisory board

Multiple Sclerosis Trust Provision of funding for the MS Therapists Education Fund. This fund enables therapists to attend educational programmes to further develop their skills

Provision of funding to support medium and long term objectives of the NOS of improving diagnosis, prevention and treatment of osteoporosis as per to the NOS mission and vision.

Funding to support the Global Net Patient Advisory Board to understand the needs of patients with NET and determine ways of meeting that need.

The Roy Castle Lung cancer Foundation is the secretariat for the Global Lung Cancer Coalition, which seeks to promote global understanding of the burden of lung cancer

Royal National Institute for Blind People 

Provision of  funding to support  the Future Vision Tour – an educational roadshow demonstrating the impact of smoking on eye health

Sarcoma UK
