Novartis has 13 sites in the UK, employing over 3,500 people.  Each of these sites has a number of local initiatives with their community in line with our commitment to good corporate citizenship. 
 

Initiatives include projects such as school visits, support for the local hospital and support for local events. 
 

One initiative that happens every year is Community Partnership Day.  On this day, employees go into the community and work on jointly selected projects such as painting local youth centres, gardening in schools and taking less privileged children on outings.
