Fraudulent offers of employment with Novartis

 It has come to our attention that an unknown individual or company is randomly emailing individuals offering them employment with Novartis.

Some of the email attachments also make use of the Novartis logo and the Novartis address, in an attempt to authenticate the e-mail.

Novartis are very concerned about the fraudulent use of our name and logo. Novartis does not offer any position without interviews and Novartis never asks candidates for money. Novartis is not associated in any way with such fraudulent offers.

In most instances the fraudulent e-mail has been accompanied by a range of  false documents such as an Appointment letter, Terms & Contract agreement and UK Visa Clearance form, asking the recipient to provide personal details on questionnaires purporting to come from the UK Immigration authorities. In some cases the recipient has also been asked to supply money.

Novartis do not yet know the identity of those fraudulently making use of Novartis details, and have referred the matter to the relevant authorities.

In the meantime please be vigilant and do not supply any money or personal details in response to these false offers. If you receive such e-mails you should forward them to the UK Press Office – pressoffice-UK.phgbfr@novartis.com
